Trivia
- "Play It Loud" was featured on the SSX3 soundtrack and the Hilary Duff movie Raise Your Voice.
- The album cover is a possible tribute to the cover of the Rolling Stones album Sticky Fingers, which does not show hands. Another possible tribute is to the cover of Chocolate and Cheese by Ween.
- Portions of the Japanese bonus track "Family Affair" appear on the track "Before" although "Family Affair" was not released on the U.S. version of the record.
- "First Day of the Rest of Our Lives" was featured on the soundtrack for the movie A Cinderella Story
- There is a backwards message toward the end of the song "It's Alright." When reversed there is a guy saying "And then one night, I just jumped off."
- "Well Adjusted" was featured in a pepsi commercial
